Unlike a conventional PIR sensor, it detects even subtle movements (breathing, typing) as long as someone is in the room, preventing unwanted shutoffs during sedentary use.

Technical details

Power supply: 230V AC 50 Hz, power consumption: 0.5W. Switched load: 2000W incandescent / 1000W LED via relay. Light threshold: < 3 to 2000 lux, delay: 10 s to 12 min. Forward range: 3 m, floor-level diameter: 2 to 6 m. Recommended installation height: 2 to 4 m. Coverage in presence-detection mode: 28 m². IP65 rating. Round polycarbonate housing, 75 mm × 66 mm deep.

Features

24 GHz microwave technology provides continuous detection as long as the field is altered by someone's presence, even if they are motionless, unlike PIR sensors, which require thermal movement. Sensitivity, twilight threshold, and lighting duration can be adjusted independently using potentiometers. IP65 rating: suitable for installation in restrooms, bathrooms, and communal showers.

Installation

Cut a 61 mm circular hole in the ceiling or suspended ceiling (compatible thickness: 63 mm). Connect the screw terminal block to the 230V wiring. Push the detector into the opening: the side springs hold it firmly in place. Adjust the three settings to suit the space.

Where can this occupancy detector be used?

Recommended for offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, communal restrooms, showers, building corridors, and intermittently used areas where precise detection saves energy without inconveniencing users. 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
