Use and Installation of the Double Switch Module

What is it for?

This double switch module allows you to turn your traditional lights into connected devices. You will be able to control your lights remotely via an app on your smartphone.

How to install it?

Installation is done in two steps. 1. This module is installed behind your traditional switch. It will be connected to your wires following the diagram specified in the installation manual provided with this module. After powering on, it must be connected to your WiFi network via your smartphone.

2. The "Silumen Home" app in the App Store or Google Play Store will allow you to link the module with your smartphone. All features and settings of the device will be managed through your smartphone.

How to use it

You have 3 options:

- Use your switch like any regular switch by pressing it

- Use the app on your smartphone for remote commands.

- Use voice commands via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa

Features of the Connected Double Switch Module

Dimensions and Power

This switch is compact, measuring 3.9cm by 1.5cm, blending into your decor. The total connection range to your smartphone via Silumen Home/Tuya Smart is 200 meters.

You can pair it with one or more LED lights up to a maximum power of 300W for a voltage of 220 to 240V. The appropriate current is 16A.

Protection Rating and Frequency

The IP20 protection rating means this double switch module should be placed away from dust and moisture.

However, it is resistant to shocks and vibrations. Your smartphone and the switch must be connected to the same WiFi network at a frequency of 2.4GHz (for the WiFi model, not Zigbee).
