Questions & answers3

Our technical team answers our customers' questions.

Is this strip compatible with a standard dimmer?

This 220V LED strip is dimmable and compatible with a dimmer switch. Please ensure you use a dimmer designed for LED strips powered at 220-240V AC, as dimmers intended for low-voltage strips running at 12V or 24V are not suitable.

Answer from the Silumen technical team

Is the power connector supplied with the strip?

The electrical power connector and the protective end cap are not included and must be ordered separately. The connections must always be protected with an insulating element against moisture, particularly for outdoor installations.

Answer from the Silumen technical team

How often can this strip be cut?

This strip can be cut every 100 cm, i.e. every metre. Always cut at the designated cutting points to ensure the strip continues to function correctly.
