Questions & answers3

Our technical team answers our customers' questions.

Does the 220V COB LED strip require a transformer?

No, the 220V COB LED strip operates directly from the mains supply and does not require a transformer. Please note, however, that it is wider than low-voltage LED strips.

Is the 220V 50M IP65 COB LED strip suitable for outdoor use at temperatures around 30°C?

This strip is rated for an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, so an outdoor temperature of 30°C is well within the specified limits.

The product https://silumen.com/products/ruban-led-cob-220v-recoupable-ip65-432led-m?variant=47201498628429 states 20 m and 650 W (13W/m). Which figure is incorrect: the length, the total wattage, or the wattage per metre?

None of the figures mentioned are incorrect. The length is indeed 20 metres, the total LED power consumption is 650W, and each metre of the strip consumes 13W. All the data are fully consistent with one another.
