8W ST64 E27 LED Filament Bulb

In a hospitality venue or shop, an exposed bulb is part of the decorative design: it is as much on display as it is a source of light. This ST64 tubular LED filament bulb delivers 720 lumens at 8W and directly replaces an 80W decorative bulb, with no changes to the installation.

Technical details

E27 base, direct 220 - 240V power supply at 50-60Hz. Power consumption: 8W for a light output of 720 lumens, giving a luminous efficacy of 90 lm/W. Color temperature: 2700K, color rendering index Ra 80, beam angle 360°. Amber glass envelope in ST64 format, 6.4 cm in diameter and 14.3 cm high. Energy class F, IP20 rating: for use in dry indoor locations only. Rated lifespan: 25,000 hours; operating temperature range: -20°C to +40°C.

Features

The Ra 80 rendering is suitable for the lighting levels expected in reception and dining areas, where the NF EN 12464-1 standard requires at least Ra 80 in spaces that are continuously occupied. Non-dimmable model: do not connect to a circuit with a dimmer, as this may cause flickering and premature driver wear. CE & RoHs compliant, with a 2-year warranty.

Installation

Isolate the circuit, remove the existing bulb, and screw the new bulb into the E27 socket. No additional equipment is required, as the power supply is built in. Check that the luminaire is thermally compatible: enclosed, unventilated luminaires reduce the effective lifespan of a filament bulb. Once power is restored, full light output is reached immediately.
