Questions & answers3

Our technical team answers our customers' questions.

Is the 12V transformer included in the pack?

The transformer is not included in this pack. You will need to provide a suitable 12V DC power supply separately, rated for the total wattage of the strips you intend to connect, i.e. 14.4W per metre.

Answer from the Silumen technical team

Can the strip be cut to the required length?

Yes, this strip can be cut every 5 cm to suit your installation precisely. Always make cuts at the designated points marked on the strip.

Answer from the Silumen technical team

Can this strip be used outdoors or in a damp environment?

No, its IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor environments only. For installations in damp conditions or outdoors, you will need to select a strip with a higher ingress protection rating.
