In apartment building corridors, common areas and service rooms, manual control is the main source of wasted energy: lights stay on because there is no timer switch. This 15W bulkhead light has a built-in occupancy sensor and dusk sensor, allowing you to automate a light point without adding a remote sensor or modifying the existing circuit.

Features

Detection is provided by a PIR (passive infrared) sensor with a range of 3 meters, combined with a dusk threshold set between 13 and 18 lux that prevents the light from switching on while there is sufficient natural light. The switch-off delay is set to 3 minutes after the last detection. Declared service life: 50000 hours according to the L70B10 protocol (luminous flux depreciation of 30% or less by the end of this period). 2-year warranty, CE & RoHs compliance.

Installation

Isolate the circuit and check that it is de-energized. Drill according to the supplied mounting plate, insert wall plugs, then screw the plate to the mounting surface. Open the junction box cover and connect the live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the corresponding terminals, using 2 x 0.5 to 2 mm² cable. Lock the fixture onto its mounting plate, then restore power. Keep the lens field of view clear of obstructions and do not point it toward a heat source or an area with constant foot traffic, as this may cause false triggering. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.
