Between warm white and amber, monochrome yellow meets a specific need: producing saturated golden light that is independent of color temperature and does not shift when dimmed. This 5-meter reel delivers it in a continuous line, thanks to a density of 320 COB chips per meter.

Features

Unlike a warm white LED, which shifts toward amber when dimmed, the monochrome yellow chip maintains exactly the same color cast from 100% down to 5% intensity. This is essential for a stage design where multiple lines need to remain colorimetrically aligned.

The flexible circuit can be laid flat, bent lengthwise, and fitted into standard recessed profiles, provided the width of 0.79 cm is respected.

Installation

De-energize the installation before carrying out any work, and check that the connection box is grounded. The 24V transformer must provide at least 48 W for a full reel, taking the power supply's own efficiency into account. Multiple sections should be wired in parallel from a single injection point, using a suitable conductor gauge to limit voltage drop.

Prepare the surface (remove dust and grease) before sticking the strip down. In an aluminum profile, the chips' junction temperature stays lower, helping to maintain light output over time.

Where can you use this LED strip?

Restaurant counter backlighting, reception room cornices, window display trim, highlighting a wall made of a warm-toned material, or indoor stairway guidance lighting in public-access buildings. Like all IP20 products, it should be used in dry locations only.
