Installation

Isolate the circuit at the distribution board before working on the wall or removing an existing device. A double two-way switch always works as a pair: install a second identical mechanism at the opposite control point, connecting each circuit with its two traveller wires (wires that connect the two switches). Connect the live wire to the common terminal of the first rocker, then connect its two traveller wires to the designated contacts. Repeat the same wiring for the second rocker. Strip the conductors by about 10 millimetres and push them all the way into the automatic terminals. Then fit the mechanism into a box at least 2.7 cm deep, secure it with the claws or screws, check that it is level, and clip on the 1- to 5-gang finish plate.
