Using and installing the double switch module

What is it for?

This double switch module lets you turn your traditional lights into connected devices. You can control your lights remotely using an app on your smartphone.

How do you install it?

Installation involves two steps.1. This module is installed behind your traditional switch. It is connected to your wires according to the diagram provided in the installation instructions supplied with the module. Once powered on, it must be connected to your Wi-Fi network using your smartphone.

2. The "Silumen Home" app in the App Store or Google Play Store lets you connect the module to your smartphone. All the device's features and settings can be managed using your smartphone.

How do you use it '

You have 3 options:

- Use your switch like any other switch by pressing it

- Use the app on your smartphone for remote control.

- Use voice commands via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa

Dimensions and power

This white switch is compact, measuring 3.9 cm by 1.5 cm, and blends into your decor. The total connection range to your smartphone via Silumen Home/Tuya Smart is 200 meters.

You can pair it with one or more LED lights up to a maximum power of 300W at a voltage of 220 to 240V. The suitable current is 16A.

Protection rating and frequency

The IP20 protection rating means that this double switch module must be kept away from dust and moisture.

However, it is resistant to shocks and vibrations. Your smartphone and the switch must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network with a frequency of 2.4GHz.
