Single Flush-Mounted Wall Switch 10A - Matte Black

A matte black switch is the right choice when the controls need to blend into a dark wall or, conversely, stand out against a light-colored wall. This flush-mounted single-pole mechanism retains the hallmarks of professional-grade equipment: push-in terminals, claw mounting and a square faceplate just 1.4 cm thick. The matte finish absorbs light and hides fingerprints better than a glossy surface.

Installation

Isolate the circuit at the distribution board and check that it is de-energized using a voltage tester. Then insert each stripped conductor into its push-in terminal; simply pushing it in secures the wire and makes the electrical connection. Position the mechanism in a 6 cm diameter box that is at least 27 mm deep, then tighten the retractable claws or screw it directly to the box. Finish by clipping on the finishing plate and rocker, restore the power and test the switch before leaving the work area.
