Is this connector compatible with all 8mm COB LED strips?

This connector is designed exclusively for 24V COB LED strips with a width of 8mm. It is not compatible with strips of a different voltage or a width other than 8mm.

Are any tools or soldering required for installation?

No, installation requires neither soldering nor specialist tools: simply insert the ends of the COB LED strips into the connector ports and check that the clips hold the strips securely in place. Please ensure the power supply is switched off before handling and that the correct polarity is observed when connecting to your 24V source.
