Quick Connector for 8mm COB LED Strip IP65

Essential connection accessory for installing COB LED strips in damp environments or outdoors. This 2-pin quick connector eliminates the traditional soldering step and significantly reduces installation time while ensuring IP65 waterproofing at the cable-to-strip junction.

Technical Details

Bipolar connector (+ / -) for 8mm COB LED strips at 24V DC. Molded silicone body providing IP65 waterproofing through compression. Pre-wired power cable made of tinned multi-strand copper, with a section suitable for the typical currents of 24V COB strips (up to 5A). CE and RoHS compliant, designed for commercial and residential use.

Features

Spring clip mechanism: the strip is inserted and held by mechanical pressure on the copper tracks, without thermal damage to the FPC substrate. Usable for connections at the start of a section, to link two strip lengths via an intermediate cable, or to extend power supply when the transformer cannot be placed near the strip.

Installation

Cut the strip at the cut mark (every 50 mm for the 8mm COB strip). Align the end with the metal contacts, respecting the polarity indicated on the cable (red = positive). Close the clip until an audible lock is heard. Visually check the alignment and cleanliness of the tracks before powering on. For installations subject to vibration, secure the junction with a cable tie or a silicone glue spot.
