The microwave motion detector is an innovative device that, instead of identifying people by the heat they emit, detects movement when the frequency of the wave received by its sensor differs from the one emitted. As soon as movement is detected by this microwave motion sensor, it automatically activates the connected light fixture for a set duration. Note that it is compatible with LED lamps up to 600W and traditional lamps up to 1200W.

Control the operating mode of your motion detector by accessing its features:

• LUX: the ambient brightness level below which the detector activates (from 3 lux for exclusively nighttime use, up to 2000 lux for day and night use)
• TIME: the duration the light stays on after detection (from 10 seconds to 12 minutes)
• SENSITIVITY: the detection range between 5m and 15m depending on the desired sensitivity level
• ON / OFF / AUTO: turn the detector on, off, or set it to automatic mode to save energy.

Installation of the white recessed microwave motion detector

Certified IP20, our white recessed microwave motion sensor is installed indoors and can be connected to a ceiling light or wall sconce. It is recessed into your wall for a modern and discreet look. Before mounting your detector, remove the front cover and adjust the control dials according to your preferences. Then unscrew the connection terminal and connect the live and neutral wires following the wiring diagram.
