What power supply is needed to run this LED strip?

This strip operates at 12V DC and has a total power consumption of 72W (14.4W/m over 5 metres). You will need a 12V DC power supply with a minimum output of 72W. Applying a recommended safety margin of 20%, a power supply rated at least 86W is advised. The power supply is not included.

Can this strip be cut to the required length?

Yes, this strip can be cut every 10 cm, which corresponds to a cut every 6 LEDs. Please ensure that cuts are made only at the designated cut marks in order to maintain circuit continuity.

Is this strip compatible with a dimmer to adjust the light intensity?

Yes, this strip is compatible with a dimmer designed for 12V DC RGB LED strips. To control colours and lighting effects, you will need a suitable RGB controller, which is separate from a standard single-channel intensity dimmer.
