What drilling diameter should I allow for in the suspended ceiling?

You need to cut a hole between 75 and 80 mm in diameter to fit this downlight holder correctly into your suspended ceiling.

No, with an IP20 protection rating, this holder is designed exclusively for use in dry indoor locations, away from any moisture. It is not suitable for installation in a bathroom or outdoors.

No, this holder also accepts GU5.3 MR16 bulbs, giving you a degree of flexibility in your choice of light source.

What size hole should I cut in the ceiling to recess this holder?

The required recessing diameter is between 71 and 80 mm, corresponding to a hole of ø 7.5 to 8 cm in your ceiling. Please check these dimensions before making any cuts.
