Fire-rated BBC recessed spotlight 6W CCT dimmable IP65, white trim
6 W LED downlight with integrated driver, designed for ceilings where fire resistance, airtightness and insulation coverage are required: timber-frame houses, converted attics, separating floors in multi-unit housing, and BBC buildings. Color temperature adjustable on site, TRIAC dimming, IP65 front face for damp rooms. White trim, the standard choice for white ceilings in offices and homes.
Technical details
6 W at 220-240 V AC, 600 lm at 4000 K and 540 lm at 3000 K and 6500 K (efficacy up to 100 lm/W), CRI Ra 80, 60° beam angle, power factor greater than 0.7. Dimensions ø 86 × 46 mm, ceiling cutout ø 53 to 70 mm. Steel and polycarbonate body, white ABS trim. IP65 protection on the front face, IP5X on the ceiling side. Connection via 2 × 0.75 mm² cable. CE marking, 3-year warranty.
Features
Three-position CCT selector (3000 / 4000 / 6500 K), accessible before installation, allowing a whole project batch to be standardized without managing three product references. Flicker-free DOB driver (Driver On Board: conversion electronics mounted directly on the LED board), compatible with TRIAC leading-edge dimmers. The luminaire can be covered with insulation and is fire-rated: 30 and 90 min on I-joists, 30, 60 and 90 min on solid timber joists, 30 min on metal-web joists.
BBC spotlight (Low-Energy Building): enclosed rear housing, IP5X rating on the ceiling side. The luminaire is airtight and does not create any leakage through the cutout, preserving the continuity of the ceiling’s airtightness barrier, which is checked during air-tightness tests.
Installation
Cutout ø 53 to 70 mm, direct connection to 230 V in a junction box or terminal block, no remote power supply. Select the color temperature, then install using the retaining springs. The wide cutout range accommodates existing holes in renovation projects. In damp areas, comply with the zones specified in NF C 15-100: the IP65 front face permits installation in zones 2 and outside the zones, but not above the bathtub or in the shower.
Professional applications
Multi-unit housing and individual timber-frame houses (fire-rated floors), new or renovated BBC homes with insulated attics, hotel and residential bathrooms, offices, corridors and passageways, local shops. One model, with adjustable color temperature, for all the ceilings in a project.
