BBC fire-rated recessed downlight 6W CCT dimmable IP65, chrome trim
6 W LED downlight with an integrated driver, designed for ceilings requiring fire resistance, airtightness and insulation coverage: timber-frame houses, converted attics, separating floors in multi-unit housing and BBC buildings. Color temperature adjustable on site, TRIAC dimming, IP65 front face for damp areas. Chrome trim for hotel bathrooms and commercial kitchens where a mirror finish is required.

Dimensions ø 86 × 46 mm, ceiling cutout ø 53 to 70 mm. Steel and polycarbonate body, chrome-plated ABS trim. IP65 rating on the front face, IP5X on the ceiling side. Features
Three-position CCT selector (3000 / 4000 / 6500 K), accessible before installation, allowing a whole batch to be standardized on site without managing three different product codes. Flicker-free DOB driver (Driver On Board: conversion electronics mounted directly on the LED board), compatible with TRIAC phase-cut dimmers. Insulation-coverable and fire-rated luminaire: 30 and 90 minutes on I-joists, 30, 60 and 90 minutes on solid timber joists, 30 minutes on metal-web joists.
BBC downlight (Low-Energy Building): enclosed housing at the rear, IP5X rating on the ceiling side. The luminaire is airtight and creates no leakage through the cutout, preserving the continuity of the ceiling's airtight barrier, which is checked during air-permeability tests.
Installation
Cutout ø 53 to 70 mm, direct connection to 230 V in a junction box or to a terminal block; no remote power supply required. Select the color temperature, then secure in place with the retaining springs. The wide cutout range covers existing holes in renovation projects. In damp areas, comply with the zones specified in NF C 15-100: the IP65 front face allows installation in zones 2 and outside the zones, but not above a bathtub or in a shower.
