Using and installing the 12V/24V white Wi-Fi strip controller

What it's for

This controller lets you adjust the brightness of your LED strips, as well as turn them on or off remotely using an app on your smartphone. Multiple phones can connect to it so that everyone in the household can access the controls.

How to install it

An instruction manual is provided with the installation and usage steps.

Next, connect your LED strips to this Wi-Fi controller by following the wiring diagram in the installation instructions.

You can then configure it using Silumen Home, an app available on the App Store and Google Play.

Features of the smart LED strip controller

Dimensions and power

This smart controller is designed for 12V or 24V LED strips, with a maximum power of 96W and 192W, respectively. You will need a transformer to step down the voltage to 12V or 24V. The Wi-Fi connection range is 200 meters.

Wi-Fi frequency and temperature

To pair the Wi-Fi controller with your smartphone, you need to use a Wi-Fi network with the same 2.4GHz frequency. It works best in an ambient temperature between -20°C and 50°C.

RGB LED strips are available with fast delivery from Silumen and come with a 2-year warranty.

I'm using an RGBW controller with an RGB strip – will this cause any issues?

As the controller is of the RGBW type, it will appear as such in the app. If your strip is RGB only, you will simply be unable to use the white channel options, but this has no effect on the controller's operation.

My Wi-Fi network runs on 5GHz – is the controller compatible?

No, this controller only operates on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Please ensure that your router or hub is broadcasting on 2.4GHz in order to pair the controller via the Silumen Home or Tuya Smart app.

Can this controller be installed in a bathroom or outdoors?

This controller has an IP20 protection rating, which makes it susceptible to moisture. It is strongly recommended to install it in a dry environment, away from any water splashes.
