Fifty meters powered from a single outlet, with no power supply unit to install and no low voltage to distribute: for long runs, direct 220V power eliminates the constraint that typically affects 12 and 24V strips: voltage drop. Installation
Fully unroll the strip before powering it on: testing a strip while it is still coiled causes immediate overheating. Check that the power circuit is not overloaded and has suitable protection. Secure the strip using the adhesive backing and screw-in clips, spaced every 50 centimeters. Cut only at the designated solder points, never at intervals shorter than the 50 cm unit, and seal the end before use. Ensure the mounting surface has adequate ventilation.
Where to use this LED strip?
Hotel coves, dropped ceiling edges, retail shelving, counter undersides, walkways, covered terraces, and illuminated signs. The 50 m length covers an entire floor or the perimeter of a room without an intermediate connection point. L'IP65 rating withstands splashes and washing, but not immersion or use in pools.
