E27 8W Dimmable G95 LED Filament Bulb

In restaurant dining rooms, hotels or reception areas, the required lighting level varies depending on the operating sequence: service, cleaning, closing. This dimmable version of the G95 globe lets you control these scenarios using an existing dimmer, without rewiring the circuit or adding a control protocol.

Technical details

E27 base, 220 - 240V, 50-60Hz power supply. 8W power consumption for 720 lumens, or 90 lm/W, equivalent to an 80W incandescent bulb. Warm white 2700K, color rendering index Ra 80, 360° beam angle. Amber glass globe, 9.5 cm in diameter and 13.8 cm high. IP20, rated lifespan of 25000 hours, operating range -20°C to +40°C.

Features

Dimming is controlled by a TRIAC dimmer (AC phase-cutting, the most common type of wall dimmer installed in France). Two points to watch when renovating: the dimmer's minimum load, which is often too high for a set of LED light sources, and compatibility with older dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs, which can cause flickering at the lower end of the range. Testing one light source before rollout is recommended. CE & RoHS compliant, 2-year warranty.

Installation

Isolate the circuit, then screw the bulb into the E27 socket. On a dimmed circuit, check that the total connected load remains within the dimmer's operating range, including its minimum load. Without a dimmer, the bulb operates normally at full brightness. Work must be carried out by a qualified professional.
