Universal Connected Thermostatic Head Kit + ZigBee Gateway
Optimize your heating use and save more energy with a universal connected thermostatic head kit, supplied with a ZigBee gateway. Screw them onto your water radiators to enjoy all the benefits of connected heating, such as scheduling and remote temperature control. This product is compatible with the free Silumen Home and Tuya apps.
Better control of the ambient temperature
Connected thermostatic heads are the best option for water-based home heating. In addition to all the benefits of a basic thermostat, they let you control your room temperature remotely from your smartphone.
You can control and set the temperature in your rooms between 5°C and 30°C in just a few clicks. This model requires 2 AA/LR6 batteries (for each head).
Optimize your energy consumption
With this connected self-regulating valve kit, you can schedule your radiators and avoid spending more on energy than necessary.
For even greater convenience, several preset modes are available right away. Use Boost mode when you need to heat a room quickly, and activate Holiday mode when you need to be away for a few days.
When the device detects an open window, an "open window" icon appears on the screen. At that point, the valve will close to stop the heating. If the user does nothing, the valve will remain closed for 30 minutes and exit this state once the time has elapsed. Users can enable or disable this feature in the app's advanced settings interface.
Control the temperature at home with your voice
Once your thermostatic heads are installed and connected to your internet network, you can use simple voice commands to control your heating. This model is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants.
A ZigBee gateway included
To let you control the thermostatic heads from a smartphone, this kit includes a ZigBee gateway. As its name suggests, this gateway lets you connect your devices to any 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. It supports up to 30 devices, not limited to thermostats, allowing you to create an ecosystem in your home.
LInstallation of the kit
- Before starting to install the thermostatic heads, insert new LR6 (AA) batteries into each head, making sure they are placed the right way around;
- Unscrew your old valves;
- Screw a universal-fit smart thermostatic head onto each radiator and use the supplied adapter for Danfoss (RA, RAV and RAVL) if needed;
- Download the Silumen Home or Tuya app from the App Store or Google Play;
-
Turn on the ZigBee gateway and add it to the app.;
- Add and configure the thermostatic head in the gateway interface in the app.
N.B. The buffer memory capacity of a thermostatic head is 64 KB. The FLASH memory of a thermostatic head is non-volatile and does not lose its data in the event of a power outage. If the internet connection is lost, the thermostatic heads keep their programmed modes in memory and continue operating according to the latest settings stored in memory, with the time and day displayed on the LCD screen, even if the Wi-Fi connection is lost.
