Cette guirlande est certifiée IP44, ce qui signifie qu'elle résiste aux projections d'eau mais ne convient pas à une exposition directe à la pluie sans protection. Pour une installation extérieure, elle doit être placée sous un toit ou un auvent.

La guirlande propose 8 modes d'éclairage différents, permettant de varier les ambiances lumineuses. En revanche, elle n'est pas dimmable, donc l'intensité lumineuse ne peut pas être modulée en continu.
