5M 24V IP20 320LED/m COB LED Strip - Blue

A continuous blue line extending several meters requires a sufficiently high LED density so the eye can no longer distinguish individual light sources. With 320 chips per meter embedded in resin, this 5-meter reel meets that requirement along its entire length, with no change in intensity from the beginning to the end of the strip.

Features

The 24V extra-low voltage allows for longer runs than an equivalent 12V strip with the same cable cross-section, as the relative voltage drop is halved. This is the factor that determines the wiring layout for long runs.

Dimming is controlled by a 24V PWM dimmer installed upstream of the strip. Since monochrome blue light undergoes no conversion by a phosphor, its color remains stable at any dimming level.

Installation

After isolating the power supply, allow for a 24V transformer rated at a minimum of 48 W for the complete reel. For runs longer than 5 meters, do not connect sections in series: power them in parallel from the transformer, or feed power at both ends. The cable connecting the transformer to the first section must be sized according to its length.

Mount using the integrated adhesive on a prepared surface, or fit into an aluminum profile with an opal diffuser to further smooth the light and protect the circuit. Cut only at the marked points, every 5 cm.

Where can you use this LED strip?

Hotel lobby coves, the underside of reception desks, counter cladding, window or demonstration-area displays, and night-time corridor lighting in public buildings. For areas exposed to moisture, specify an IP65 or IP67 model.
