4 basic heating modes available on the device

Comfort Mode : the heater warms the room and maintains the selected set temperature for a pleasant, cozy environment. Ideal for when you're at home, such as in the morning and evening.

ECO Mode: Lowers the temperature by 3.5°C below the set temperature, reducing energy consumption without sacrificing comfort. Designed to save energy during the day or at night when rooms aren’t in use.

Frost Protection Mode: Essential in cold regions to prevent pipes from freezing. It maintains a stable temperature of 7°C, protecting the plumbing during long winter absences. Recommended for second homes or extended holidays.

Off Mode : Puts the radiator on standby, ideal for extended holidays or when heating isn’t needed, such as in summer. In this mode, the radiator is completely inactive, allowing you to save significant amounts of energy.

Pairing this pilot wire thermostat with Silumen Home via a Zigbee gateway gives you access to the following features:

Programming Mode: Lets you set a customized schedule in 30-minute increments, with up to 48 programs per day, 7 days a week. This feature lets you adapt heating to your household’s routine, ensuring comfort and energy savings.

Holiday Mode: Activated during extended absences, it maintains a constant temperature of 7°C (Frost Protection mode) throughout the set period. At the end of this period, the system automatically returns to Comfort mode, ensuring a pleasant return home.

Manual Mode : Manual mode allows precise temperature control by turning the radiator on or off based on the room temperature compared with the set temperature. To use this mode, set the radiator to Comfort mode and adjust the temperature to the recommended maximum of 35°C.

Boost Mode: This mode forces the radiator into Comfort mode for a set duration (30 minutes to 2 hours). Boost mode is particularly useful for quickly warming up a room after an absence. It can only be activated from Holiday and Programming modes, and automatically returns to the previous mode once the period has ended.

Thermostat Mode: In thermostat mode, the system automatically adjusts the temperature to the target value set by the user. To activate this mode, set the radiator to Comfort mode and set the temperature to the maximum value (35°C recommended). This allows for precise and consistent control of the room temperature, improving comfort and energy efficiency.
How do you install the thermostat?
LInstalling the pilot wire thermostat is relatively straightforward. After turning off the power, disconnect the wires from your electric radiator from the power supply and connect them to the pilot wire thermostat. The thermostat wires then replace the radiator wires and are connected to the power supply. Once the wiring is complete, simply pair your pilot wire module with a Zigbee gateway previously installed on Silumen Home. You can then enjoy all its features. The instructions included in the box contain detailed information about the thermostat's various modes and installation.
N.B. If the internet goes down, the heater continues to operate according to the schedules already set in the Tuya or Silumen Home app, including the weekly schedule and temperature settings. All operating parameters are saved locally in the device's memory and, when it is not connected to the network, the device operates according to the settings configured beforehand (2 MB FLASH memory and 256 KB RAM).
Our product also has a LAN mode. When the network router cannot connect to the Internet, but the mobile phone and RP5 are on the same LAN, we can still control the RP5 locally via the mobile app using WLAN, that is, the wireless local area network.
