Black 80 cm stainless steel outdoor LED bollard, 24W, IP44: powerful 360° lighting for shared pathways
With 3400 lumens emitted across 360°, this 80 cm bollard illuminates well beyond its base: it is suitable for condominium driveways, areas around commercial buildings, and residential pedestrian paths, where a decorative low-output bollard would require installing more light points. Installation
The bollard must be mounted on a hard, level surface, preferably a concrete base. As a Class I device, it must be connected to earth via the protective conductor. For the power supply, provide a dedicated circuit protected by a 30 mA RCD, a cable suitable for burial (type U-1000 R2V) laid in conduit with warning mesh, and connections made in a watertight junction box, in accordance with NF C 15-100. For long runs, check the voltage drop before deciding on the conductor cross-section. L's IP44 rating protects it from rain and splashes: avoid areas exposed to sprinkler jets or high-pressure cleaning.
Applications and layout
Residential driveways and parking areas, office entrances, hotel gardens, campsites, and private green spaces. For an accessible outdoor pathway, accessibility regulations call for 20 lux at every point: with this light output, spacing of around 6 to 8 m is a good starting point, to be confirmed by a lighting study based on the path width and surface materials.
