Designed for renovation projects and commercial installations, this 8W CCT BBC recessed LED spotlight combines four color temperatures, dimming, UGR<19 visual comfort and an airtight housing measuring 103 mm in diameter and 85 mm in height. One product reference therefore covers most lighting requirements for a given project.

Four color temperatures in a single product

The recessed LED spotlight has a switch on the back of the housing to set the color temperature to 3000K, 4000K, 5000K or 5700K. The color temperature can be matched across the entire lighting layout during installation, without having to stock multiple product references.

An airtight housing for BBC buildings

The housing is closed at the rear, with an IP5X rating on the ceiling side: no air leaks through the cutout into the attic or plenum. This means the spotlight preserves the airtightness of the building envelope, a requirement for low-energy buildings (BBC) verified during airtightness tests.

A black finish for dark ceilings

The black finish complements dark ceilings and bolder interiors.

Luminous flux, efficacy and dimming

With 680 lumens at 8W, equivalent to an efficacy of 85 lm/W, the spotlight illuminates at a 60° beam angle with a CRI Ra 80. Its UGR below 19 meets the visual comfort requirements for workstations. Paired with a compatible LED lighting dimmer, it can be dimmed according to room occupancy.

Installing the 8W CCT recessed spotlight

• 1. Isolate the circuit before carrying out any work.
• 2. Cut a 90 to 95 mm opening in the suspended ceiling, allowing for an installation depth of 85 mm.
• 3. Set the color temperature using the rear switch: 3000K, 4000K, 5000K or 5700K.
• 4. Connect the spotlight to the 220-240V mains.
• 5. Insert the spotlight into the cutout, cables first.
• 6. Compress the fixing springs, then release them once the spotlight is in place.
• 7. Restore power and test the installation.

N.B. The visible face of the recessed spotlight is IP44 protected; the closed rear of the housing is IP5X (airtight). Avoid covering the spotlight with insulation to preserve its service life. The product comes with a 3-year warranty.
