Using and installing the double switch module
What is it for?
This double switch module lets you turn your standard lights into connected devices. You can control your lights remotely using an app on your smartphone.
How do you install it?
L'installation takes place in two steps.1. This module is installed behind your standard switch. It will be connected to your wires according to the diagram specified in the installation instructions provided with this module. After being powered on, it must be connected to your Wi-Fi network using your smartphone.
2. The L app "Silumen Home" in the App Store or Google Play Store lets you connect the module to your smartphone. All the device's features and settings can be accessed through your smartphone.
How do you use it?
You have 3 options:
- Use your switch like any other switch by pressing it
- Use the app on your smartphone to control it remotely.
- By voice command via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa
Features of the double connected switch module
Dimensions and power
This black switch is compact, measuring 3.9 cm by 1.5 cm, and blends into the decor. The total connection range to your smartphone via Silumen Home/Tuya Smart is 200 meters.
You can pair it with one or more LED lights up to a maximum power of 300 W at a voltage of 220 to 240 V. The appropriate current is 16 A.
Protection rating and frequency
IP20 protection rating means this double switch module must be installed away from dust and moisture.
It is, however, resistant to impacts and vibrations. Your smartphone and the switch must be connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
