Using and installing the switch module
What is it for?
Use your smartphone to turn your lights on and off. This device is simply an additional module for your switch that lets you connect it to your Wi-Fi network. This turns it into a smart switch.
How to install it
Linstallation takes place in two steps.
1. First, install the module behind your switch. It will be connected directly to your wires according to a diagram specified in the installation guide supplied with the module. Once powered on, it must be connected to your Wi-Fi network. To do this, use your smartphone.
2. To connect it to your smartphone, download the "Silumen Home" app, available on the App Store and Google Store. This app will let you control the module remotely and connect it to your Wi-Fi network (or Zigbee, depending on the model you choose). You can also connect your other smart devices to it if they are compatible. All settings are configured through the app.
How to use it?
This switch module lets you control your lights from your smartphone without having to get up. However, the traditional functions of switches are not obsolete, and you can still use them as usual by pressing them.
Note that you can also use voice commands through your usual APIs, such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Size and frequency
This smart switch measures 4.6cm by 1.8cm. It works ideally within a maximum range of 200 meters. The Wi-Fi network frequency (for the Wi-Fi model) is linked to the smartphone and the switch and is 2.4 GHz.
