Use and Installation of the Switch Module

What is it for?

Control the turning on and off of your lights from your smartphone. This device is simply an additional module to your switch that allows you to connect it to your WiFi network. This way, you turn it into a connected switch.

How to install it

The installation is done in two steps.

1. First, you need to install the module behind your switch. It will be directly connected to your cables according to a diagram specified in the installation manual provided with this module. Once powered, it must be connected to your WiFi network. To do this, you need to use your smartphone.

2. To connect it to your smartphone, you must download the "Silumen Home" app available on the App Store and Google Store. This app will allow you to control the module remotely and connect it to your WiFi network (or Zigbee depending on the chosen model). You can also connect your other compatible smart devices. All settings will be done through the app.

How to use it?

This switch module allows you to control your lights from your smartphone without having to get up. However, the traditional switch functions are still available, and you can continue to use them as usual by pressing the switch.

Note that voice commands are also possible through your usual APIs such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
